Cards Against Humanity, The #1 Rated Party Game

Cards Against Humanity, The #1 Rated Party Game

The Party Game That Actually Delivers

You've been to parties where someone suggests Antakshari, someone else proposes dumb charades, and within ten minutes half the group is back on their phones. The vibes are fine — but not really happening.

Now imagine the opposite. Everyone leaning in. Collective groans, helpless laughter, someone spitting out their drink. Nobody reaching for their phone because they can't afford to miss what just got read out.

That's Cards Against Humanity — Turnwise's #1 rated party game. There are great options out there: Avalon for psychological warfare, Dobble for pure chaos, Exploding Kittens for lovable absurdity. But when you need the kind of laughter that becomes a story people retell for years — Cards Against Humanity is in a category of its own.

"The only game where someone reading a two-word answer can make a table of eight absolutely lose it."

What To Expect: Dark Humour, Zero Filter

Cards Against Humanity calls itself "a party game for horrible people." It means this. Built around dark humour, adult themes, and the kind of jokes you'd normally only make in a very specific group chat. The deck has two card types:

Black cards — the prompts
Cards Against Humanty I drink to forget
Cards Against Humanty What do old people smell like?
Cards Against Humanty Next from J.K. Rowling: Harry Potter and the
White cards — everyone's answers
Cards Against Humanity Pretending to care
Cards Against Humanity A Roomba with a grudge
Cards Against Humanity Whatever keeps the voices quiet

500+ cards in the base set. Twisted pop culture references, existential dread, content that will make you question what you find funny — and then laugh anyway. What makes CAH irreplaceable isn't just the cards; it's what the game reveals about the people playing.

500+ Cards in the base set
4–20 Players per game
30–90 Minutes per session

How To Play

Rules barrier: under three minutes. Each round, one player is the Card Czar — they flip a black card and read the prompt aloud. Everyone else picks their funniest white card from their hand of 10 and plays it face-down. The Czar reads all answers and picks the best one. That person wins the black card as a point. Rotate, redraw, repeat.

Players & time: 4–20 people; sweet spot is 5–10. Sessions run 45–75 minutes and almost always end with "one more round."

Best enjoyed with drinks. Loser of each round drinks, or the Czar drinks after picking — make up your own rules. There's a reason this is India's go-to adult drinking card game and party game combined.

Know your crowd first

CAH works best when everyone has that group-chat-where-nothing-is-off-limits energy. Not for first introductions or mismatched comfort levels. When the group is right, there's no better game. When it isn't, it goes awkward fast.

For mixed groups, warm up with Exploding Kittens or Dobble first.

A Real Round: How It Goes

Six friends - Arjun, Meera, Kabir, Sanya, Dev, Priya. Priya's turn as Card Czar. She flips:

🖤  "What's the next big thing in Indian weddings?"

The answers come in…

Arjun A robot that cries during the varmala
Meera Forgetting which family is paying for what
Kabir A live DJ set of just one song on loop
Sanya Blaming your ex at the baraat
Dev Passive-aggressive paneer dishes named after relatives Priya picks this

Dev wins. Kabir shouts "cheating." Sanya absolutely loses it & burst into laughter. Nobody has touched their phone in the past forty minutes. This is Cards Against Humanity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I buy Cards Against Humanity in India?

Turnwise is India's only verified source for an authentic copy — turnwise.in/products/cards-against-humanity. Free shipping pan-India. Avoid random marketplace sellers; fake copies are extremely common.

What is the price of Cards Against Humanity in India?

₹1,199 on Turnwise, with free shipping. Authentic base set, 500+ cards, no hidden costs.

How many people can play Cards Against Humanity?

4 to 20 players. Sweet spot is 5–10. Below 4 the answer pool is too small; above 12 it still works brilliantly with the right crowd.

Can Cards Against Humanity be used as a drinking game?

Absolutely — it's one of the best adult drinking games in India for exactly this reason. Loser drinks, Czar drinks after picking, or anyone who laughs while reading has to sip. Make up your own rules.

Is Cards Against Humanity good for Indian adults?

Made for adults (18+) with that group-chat-where-nothing-is-off-limits energy. Choose your crowd carefully — with the right group it's a spectacular evening. Wrong crowd and it goes awkward fast.

What makes Turnwise better than other platforms for buying CAH?

Authentic sourcing, proper card stock, correct card count. Counterfeit copies on other platforms have thin cards, off-colour printing, and missing cards. Turnwise is India's only guaranteed authentic source.
