How to Play Flip 7 (Step by Step)

The goal

Be the first player to reach 200 points, added up over several rounds. You score by collecting different number cards — but only if you stop before you bust.

What's in the deck

Three kinds of cards:

• Number cards (0–12) — these are your points. Each number is worth its face value.
• Modifier cards — bonuses like +2, +4, +6, +8, +10 and a juicy ×2 that doubles your number total.
• Action cards — Freeze, Flip Three and Second Chance (explained below).

Playing a round

1. The dealer gives cards one at a time. On your turn you choose: "Hit" (take another card) or "Stay" (stop and bank your points).
2. Keep all your cards face-up in front of you so everyone can see your collection grow.
3. If you "Stay," you're done for the round and your points are safe.
4. If you draw a number you already have, you BUST — you score zero this round and you're out until the next one. Ouch.
5. The round ends when everyone has either stayed or busted (or someone hits Flip 7 — see below).

At the end of each round, every player who didn't bust adds up: their different number cards + any modifiers + the +15 Flip 7 bonus (if earned). Busted players score 0. Keep a running total. The first to 200 wins the game.
